TYLER

It’s heartbreaking to see poor Tyler. This 10 year old boy came to us completely bald due to a terrible skin condition. This is being treated and as you can see, is growing back and making good progress. Tyler was depressed when he first came to us but is now enjoying life again. Tyler knows how to sit for a treat, walks nicely on the lead and is housetrained. He could be left alone for short periods of time. Because of his age, we would like Tyler to go to a home with no really young children. He has lived with a cat before and enjoys going for a walk for another of our dogs, Spinner. Tyler needs a home where he will receive lots of fuss and attention and a chance to play with his toys. Tyler loves to lean into you for a cuddle. His eyesight is not so good but we feel that is due to age rather than anything else.

Tyler really needs a chance of a new life and home. He would love this - together with a cosy bed of course. If any dog deserves this, it is Tyler.

Why I'm special

Tyler really is a friendly boy who is such a gentle dog.  The welcome you receive when you go to his kennel belies the terrible time he had prior coming into our care. He is very obviously thriving with love and comfort in kennels but we know that all he wants now is a home and humans to call his own.  He is typical of his breed in that he loves a little walk and then a long, cosy nap.  Tyler will respond to his name and will sit for a biscuit.  He enjoys a good old sniff around when out and about on a walk.  He is lovely and steady on his lead.

Please give Tyler a chance and come and meet him.  We can be contacted on 07872 041733 or admin@rspcanorthumberlandwest.co.uk

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
