Timmy is a five year old Patterdale Terrier, who has lived in the same home since a young puppy. Sadly his owner’s circumstances have changed which means that Timmy needs to find a new home.

Timmy loves to be outdoors and really enjoys playing fetch.  He may be small, but he is full of energy and needs lots of exercise to tire him out. He most certainly wouldn’t suit a sedate household.

With other dogs, it’s best to be introduced gently to them.  Indoors he loves cuddles and warm fires and is the sweetest companion. He would be best homed where there are no other pets or children with a well fenced secure garden.  Timmy needs someone who will be a strong yet gentle leader.  He responds well to encouragement,  praise and special liver treats.

Timmy has been well cared for and is in excellent condition. He is housetrained, neutered, chipped and vaccinated.

My personality

  • I know how to sit (and lots of other commands too!)
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I can be left alone for short periods
  • I'd prefer to be the only dog in a home
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm always on the go
  • I love toys and games

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
