TIGGS

Hello humans! I’m Tiggs. I’m a gorgeous, affectionate, playful 5 year old boy cat. My favourite things are bedtime cuddles, playing with all things catnip, sleeping, eating, and exploring my garden and the nearby woods and fields. I’m also a pretty good mouser, even if I do say so myself.

My family love me very much. I love them too. We’ve tried hard to make things work, but I can’t live with their other felines. I had a hard start in life in a house overrun with cats. I was so happy to be rescued by the RSPCA, fostered and adopted, but I dream of a home of my very own. Just me and you. No other cats.

Please can you help me? I have so much love to give. I’m neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. I really need a rural or semi-rural home, somewhere there are no or few cats living nearby.

Why I'm special

Tiggs is a beautiful boy who sadly is not getting on with the other cats in his home. He came into care initially a few years ago with his friend Danny - Tiggs was extremely nervous and shy initially and because of that no one came forward to adopt him....so his foster mum decided to let him stay.

It took him a while to settle in with the existing cat family but eventually they all seemed to muddle along together ok....however when Tiggs began to feel his feet he has become rather a bully with the resident cats and despite trying everything to keep the status quo it is with a heavy heart his mummy is looking for a new home for him so that both he, and everyone else can be truly happy.

With people, Tiggs is a truly lovely boy - he can be very loving and loves to curl up under his mummys chin in bed. He has had a really idyllic lifestyle living in rural shropshire and therefore we will only rehome him to a safe rural area away from any busy roads - he is an independant boy happy to amuse himself whilst you are  out at work but will enjoy some fuss when you are home and he is in. He does love the country life and all that it provides for a cat and we would want that to continue for him

its hard to say how Tiggs will be when he first moves, but we are expecting that it might unsettle him to begin with and he may initially be shy and need some patience to settle. Once settled in though he will be a handsome and adorable cat.

it would be so lovely to see him settled and happy as an only cat in his forever home - do you have the perfect home to offer him? If you think so please enquire intially by completing the online form via the link below. Many thanks

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
