TALLULAH

Poor Tallulah has been with us for quite some time and we can't understand why, she is a lovely little girl who just needs someone to give her a chance. Please read on for more information.

Tallulah came to us from RSPCA Lancashire East branch as she was really unsettled in the cattery and we had a local foster carer available for her. Over the past couple of weeks Tallulah has undergone a big transformation, initially she hid for a couple of days but ventured out for her food and to use her litter tray, the foster carer left her to come round in her own time and slowly but surely Tallulah gained her confidence. Please read what the carer has said about Tallulah so far..

‘Tallulah is a lovely cat, friendly but fiercely independent, inquisitive and active too. She eventually came to sit by my side and will now let me stroke her but she doesn’t like her tummy being tickled and isn’t fond of being picked up. She will only let you stroke her a few times and will have a little bite to say 'I’ve had enough'. She loves laying in front of the fire enjoying her home comforts but her favourite pastime is sitting and looking out of the window, she will definitely love being in her own home so she can go out exploring (let’s hope that’s soon) it would definitely be better for her forever home to have a cat flap so she could come and go as she pleases. Tallulah does like to be near you and to have a nosey at what’s going on around her but she is not a cat who likes being fussed too much. I have found that Tallulah isn’t a big eater, she can be picky but she currently seems to prefer eating her cat biscuits. She truly deserves a lovely, quiet home where she can have a happy cat life. Ideally she will need a home with gardens around and she also needs to be an only pet too. Tallulah will make a great companion for someone, could that be you?’

BRANCH CAT ADOPTION NOTES:

Our cat/kitten adoption fee is £70 which covers neutering, vaccinations, micro-chipping, FIV/Felv testing and a free four week pet insurance trial. Our cats are usually in separate foster homes within our branch area of Keighley/Skipton. If you would like to arrange a viewing please send us an email at any time and include your address and contact number. Please also tell us if you have children, other pets and if there are any busy roads nearby that might be of concern for when the cat goes outdoors. Our emails are checked at various points during the day and we will reply to you as soon as we can. Our branch phone line is open every weekend and bank holidays on telephone: 07949 229955.

Why I'm special

Tallulah has been with us for quite some time and hasn’t yet managed to find her forever home. She is currently in foster care but would love a home of her own where she is the only pet and where she can venture outside to have a nosey at what’s going on around her. Her ideal home would be a nice, quiet environment where she can have fuss and attention when she wants but have her own time too. Could you offer this lovely little girl a happy ever after? She would make a great companion for someone, could that be you?

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I'm a shy guy; I'll need time to settle
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
