SYDNEY

This beautiful boy was locked in an empty house without food or water. Sydney is a very obedient dog and is very egar to learn. He understands lots of commands and is keen to learn many more. When he first arrived he was very confident around other dogs but we have now started introducing him to our calmer dogs and he is doing really well. Sydney needs someone who is willing and committed to carry on the training with him. He has clearly not had any socialisation being a puppy so loves to explore on his walks, he would benefit from an active lifestyle. He is great with men and women and also loves to play with all of his toys.

My personality

  • I know how to sit (and lots of other commands too!)
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I can be left alone for short periods
  • I'd prefer to be the only dog in a home
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm a bright spark
  • I love fuss and attention

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
