STELLA

Remove from my favourites

Stella originally came into RSPCA care as she was not settling with a male dog in the household.
Stella can be wary of new people and she is nervous of men from which we found out in her last home. Stella is much more comfortable with women, so this will need to be a consideration in her new home.
Stella needs an experienced home with people that will be patient and let her come round in her own time and not crowd her. Stella needs an all adult home.
She will happily play with toys with you and give them up on command when swapped for another, her favourite toys are footballs.
Stella has met other dogs at the centre and is learning to walk nicely alongside other calm dogs. She does need to be the only dog in her new home with ongoing socialisation with calm friendly dogs.
She will need a home that has patience with her to go through more basic training as she has a short attention span. She may also benefit from a refreshing in house training.
At first she will need to be left for short periods gradually building this time up.

My personality

  • I need training how to sit nicely (and then I can master the rest)
  • I need teaching that it's ok to be alone
  • I'd prefer to be the only dog in a home
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm always on the go
  • I love toys and games

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
