Meet the gorgeous and incredibly handsome Sid!

He is in need of a very special owner who has experience of dogs with nervous issues.

He is a Saluki cross of just under 2 years of age and very sadly came into us via the vets, after he had been found abandoned on the side of the road.

Sid has an amazing personality and a lovely affectionate nature. He loves to play and gets on well with most dogs-he loves nothing more than playing with his doggie friends that he has made whilst he has been here!

Sid would prefer a quiet adult only home, as he can be a little shy in new situations.

Sid could possibly live with another dog he is best suited to females.

My personality

  • I need training how to sit nicely (and then I can master the rest)
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I need teaching that it's ok to be alone
  • I may be able to live with another dog
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm always on the go
  • I love food and treats

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
