SAMMY

Its not only girls who have beauty spots, this good looking boy has one on his top lip.
Sammy is a playful boy who is still young enough to be kitten like but old enough to be sensible. He likes to have a stroke and cuddle but will play with his toys with you or independently.
He is only approx 8 months old and he came in to us due to him having a jaw injury that his owners could not afford to treat. He has had a operation for the injury and is well on the way to recovery, it will have no lsting effects as it was a flesh injury. He loves his food and even when he had a infected jaw he was still gulping his food down!
This young boy will bring joy to a family who can meet his needs but we feel he maybe best on his own as he is very aprehensive towards other cats and does hiss at them and shows more agression than intrest. He really is a people cat and is a soft boy ready to roll on his side for tummy tickles.
Sammy has now been neutered, had flea and worm treatment, vet advice says he can not start his vaccines until Monday 12th Feb then 2nd vac 3 weeks after this which will be paid for by the branch. He has been microchipped.
A adoption support visit is required and a adoption fee of £80 is required.

Why I'm special

This young boy is a very playful cat who needs to be with a family who have time to spend with him playing and giving him the love he deserves. Sammy would love to tear around playing with his toys in a house and if there was children of secondary school age plus he would keep them entertained. Sammy thinks with his tummy so you would need to watch his weight but play time would help him keep this in check.

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I'm full of energy and love to play
  • I may be able to live with a friendly dog

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
