Saffie is an energetic girl who came into the centre due to owner’s change of circumstances. She adores women but is currently very wary around men so we are slowly working on building her confidence however she will require a patient owner who is willing to allow her to come around in her own time. Saffie enjoys her walks and loves to explore, she can be strong on lead however walks very nicely on a canny collar and lead. Saffie is very social and enjoys the company of dogs she knows however can be vocal and unsure around unfamiliar dogs so we do feel she may be suited to a multi dog household however a careful introduction would be necessary. Saffie has a great nature but would only be suited to a home with older children 15+ due to her timid nature. She would benefit from further socialisation and training and with a patient owner she will make a fabulous, lifelong companion.

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
