Friendly, affectionate and eager to please, Rosie is great company and a lovely girl to be around. She is always in a happy mood and enjoys going out for walks and playing with her toys in the exercise area. Rosie will come to you when called and already knows the commands 'sit', 'down' and 'paw', but she would certainly benefit from some further training where she can continue to work on her basic commands and leadwork, and learn to socialize better with other dogs. Rosie has never lived with other pets but she has lived with children over the age of twelve. As she is quite a 'bouncy' dog we wouldn't recommend a home with children younger than that age.

Rosie weighs 23kg.

Rosie has so much love to give. Please get in touch if you can give her the forever home she deserves.

Why I'm special

Rosie is a very special girl to us. We all adore her but she's been with us for quite some time now and we would love her to find her forever home very soon. We can't deny that Rosie needs some help with her socializatiion but we do believe that is something that can be managed by an experienced and careful owner. This really is Rosie's only fault. She is an adorable girl in every other way; so happy and friendly and always pleased to see you, especially if you've brought some treats along! Rosie always brightens our days with her great personality. We know that there's somone out there who can give Rosie the chance of a happy life.

  • I need help learning to like other dogs

  • I'm a bright spark
  • I love fuss and attention

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
