Rosie is a sweet older lady who unfortunately found herself in our care when her owner sadly passed away . This girl was so sad and upset when she arrived, it took some extra special TLC from her carers to make her feel relaxed and comfortable. She was found to have an awful urine infection too which reqired a strong dose of antibiotics from our vets. Now she's healthy and feeling much better and she's ready to find a new home.

When out walking, we noticed that she had some mobility issues with her hind leg so we got our vets to have a look. X rays showed that she has a painful torn ligament in her right hind leg. She is currently on a strict diet and exercise plan, along with pain management to try and help get her back on her feet again. However, we think that she would lose weight and be much happier in a home environment so we are looking for a foster to adopt home, where she would be placed on foster first whilst we work on her strict diet and whilst her leg heals.

Rosie's biggest comforts are her favourite people. She finds it quite tough in kennels and although the staff work hard to keep her as happy and comfortable as possible, we can't offer her the amount of one to one time she is used to and craves. She is a wonderful, affectionate dog who just wants to be someone's best friend and companion.

Rosie is looking for a home where she can be the only pet. She is good out and about around other dogs but she doesn't really care for their company and would prefer her home, resources and owner's love all to herself.

Used to a quiet home, Rosie is desperate for a chance to belong once more. She is looking for paitent owners who are happy to take their time with this special girl and let her adjust and settle at her own pace. She may be suitable to live with secondary school age children, used to dog but we would arrange several introductions to ensure everyone is happy before Rosie moves in.

Can you offer this beautiful girl a wonderful new life?
