ROSIE

Rosie came into our care with very sore skin and fur loss.  She had been a stray for many years, although she was being fed by several different neighbours. Rosie was very weak when she first came in and spent most of her time sleeping on the desks at our office.  She has undergone blood tests and veterinary checks with nothing clinically wrong. It seems that apart from having only 2 teeth she in remarkably good health! As time has gone on Rosie has discovered a new lease of life, she loves to play but she especially enjoys a fuss on your lap. She really is a very affectionate and loving cat who has a slight addiction to cat nip! Her skin condition has completely resolved and her fur is growing back to reveal a fluffy kittie! We think Rosie could potentially live with another neutered cat, and as one of our senior "kittizens" at 11 years old has a special adoption fee of £50.

Rosie can be viewed at our Brixworth cattery everyday except Wednesdays between 11am-2pm.

Why I'm special

Hi feline fans!! My name is Rosie cat and I'm rather special if I do say so myself! As a stray I have had a very rough few years, never knowing where my next meal was coming from. Not only was I hungry but my skin was also incredibly itchy and sore. One day an inspector came along and brought me to a lovely warm new home with the RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch. After 3 months of good food and love I am a different cat! I'm no longer sore or skinny and the fabulous ladies who look after me have said I am ready to find my furrever home! I am so excited as I haven't had a home to call my own for years and I have missed sleeping on a cosy lap! Could my new home be with you please?

My personality

  • I may be able to live with another cat
  • I'll probably spend more time inside
  • I could live with children
  • I love company and would like you to be around a good part of the day
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog

Help feed animals in our care

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
