Rose is a very friendly and confident girl who loves a fuss. However she isn't keen on being handled/restrained when she doesn't want to be. She would be best suited to a home with older children who understand she can't be picked up unless she is showing signs of wanting to be. She came in as she had been living as a stray, unfortunately she was not wanted around the area so was shot by a pellet gun. The bullet has now been removed and she is looking for a home to call her own.

Why I'm special

hello, I am the Beautiful Rose. I came here after a nice RSPCA inspector rescued me from a horrible life. I was left to fend for myself so I was straying, doing my best to survive when someone shot me! It really, really hurt so I have been a bit cautious about being picked up but I'm starting to realise that my staff here won't hurt me (they LOVE me very much) and I have relaxed a lot. I'd really love a new forever home where I can have lots of strokes and a safe place to lay my pretty head. Would you love me and  protect me from being hurt again?
