Rae came to us with another cat after someone had dumped them both in a box! They were rescued by the inspectorate team and brought to us for re-homing. Obviously both cats were unsettled and timid and who can blame them after being treated so badly. Rae was the more timid of the two but is coming round well in foster care. Please read what her foster carer has had to say below..

‘Rae came to us rather frightened and was grumbling and hissing at everything. After a few days she soon realised everything was safe and has turned into such a lovely, friendly cat who quite happily lets you stroke her tummy. She lets you know when she wants attention by rubbing up against you and giving a gentle head butt. She wasn’t keen on our very chilled resident cat at first but she is slowly coming round. She really is a delightful little girl, full of fun and character. Could you offer her a much needed new start?’

IMPORTANT BRANCH CAT ADOPTION NOTES:

Our standard cat/kitten adoption fee is £80 which covers: a vet check, flea & worming, neutering, vaccinations, micro-chipping, FIV testing for feline aids, dental scale and polish if needed plus a free four week pet insurance trial. Our cats are usually in separate foster homes within our branch area of Keighley/Skipton. If you would like to arrange a viewing please send us an email at any time and include your address and contact number. Please also tell us if you have children, other pets and if there are any busy roads nearby that might be of concern for when the cat goes outdoors. Our emails are checked at various points during the day and we will reply to you as soon as we can. Our branch phone line is open every weekend and bank holidays on telephone: 07949 229955.

Why I'm special

Rae has had a bad start to her early life and was left dumped in a box with another cat! Luckily they were both rescued by the RSPCA inspectors and taken into our branch care. Rae is a lovely girl who has settled into foster care really well, she is very friendly and likes a nice tummy rub and will ask for more by giving you a little ‘head butt’. Rae really deserves an owner who can show her what a loving home is all about - could you help her?

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I'm full of energy and love to play
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
