Meet Pippin, a 3 year old Terrier cross. Pippin is on the lookout for a fun and active home where he can have lots of varied walks and someone who can do some fun positive training. Pippin is a busy boy and really enjoys using his nose for scent work, it would be great if he can continue this in his new home playing ‘find it’ games. Pippin is a bit unsure with being handled so will need someone who can give him the time and patience to build his confidence with this. He may be able to live with teenagers pending good introductions here at the shelter. Pippin would not be able to share his home with another dog or a cat. If you have a fun, active home to offer please do get in touch with us.

If you are interested in Pippin, please ring 07748 629202 to speak to one of the dog team during our opening hours. During busy periods the phone may only be on between 2pm and 4pm, so please bear with us and try again.

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
