Megan - 5 year old Female American Bulldog Cross

Megan is a 5 year old American Bulldog cross who is looking for a quiet home to settle into. Megan can initially be worried by new people, but once she knows you she will lean into you for a gentle fuss. Megan has been used to quiet walking areas where she has not seen many dogs, so she will need this again where she can build her confidence slowly around dogs and people. Megan really enjoys her walks, but can be very strong on lead! She may be able to share a home with another male dog and older, calm and sensible children pending good introductions here at the shelter. Megan cannot wait to get back to some home comforts and will be fantastic companion in a quiet home.

If you are interested in Megan, please ring 07748 629202 to speak to one of the dog team during our opening hours. During busy periods the phone may only be on between 2pm and 4pm, so please bear with us and try again.

My personality

  • I may be able to live with another dog
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm quiet but full of love
  • I love food and treats

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
