LUCKY

This sassy and photogenic feline is Lucky. She is on the lookout for a new home.
She is looking for a home where she will be the only animal in the home. Lucky is an independent girl, however if you settle down with her she is more than happy to sit with you and have her chin tickled.
Lucky has got some arthritis in her hind legs, she is on medication for this which is easily put in her food and she will eat it all up.
She would like to be able to go outside and roam around in a safe garden.

We are hoping that we can find Lucky a forever home to love in, we will also be considering a full time foster home for her. In a foster home, we will provide the medication that she needs and will cover her veterinary treatment.

Please get in touch with RSPCA Friern Barnet on 03001230594 or email friernbarnetadoptions@rspca.org.uk.
You can also pop into the centre inside Pets at Home in Friern Barnet Retail Park.

Why I'm special

This very expressive face belongs to the lovely lady Lucky.

Unfortunately Lucky's owner sadly passed away in hospital and no one knew that Lucky was left alone at home. When the police had to get inside Lucky's home they had to forcefully break the down the door and poor Lucky was found cowering in a cupboard out of fear. Poor Lucky would have been petrified and very confused as to where her owner was and what was happening to her. Lucky was taken into the council's care and she was boarded at a private cattery for over a year until she came to the RSPCA Finchley in early 2017.

Understandably, Lucky is a shy girl but once she trusts you she can be very sweet and enjoys being stroked and fussed over. Lucky will take time to settle into her new home so she needs a quiet, adult only home with no other pets. Lucky has some minor arthritis in her back legs which means she needs to have a painkiller put in her food once a day to make sure that she is comfortable getting around and not in any discomfort.

Lucky has had a tough time and all she needs is a second chance in a forever home with understanding and experienced owners who can help her overcome her ordeal and give her the love and care that she deserves. Lucky will need her own hiding places where she can be left alone, however she will willingly come to people when she would like affection.

If you think you could provide a foster home or a permanent home, please do get in touch on 0300 123 0594 or email/message us via Facebook.
Lucky is currently taking residency here at the centre if you would like to meet her.
