LIZZI

Lizzie was brought to the RSPCA by a worried member of the public after she had been found wandering the grounds of a local primary school.

On arrival she had a large wound to the back of her head and several smaller marks on her body consistent with an attack by a larger animal. Thankfully the wounds were superficial and healed quickly with the correct treatment.

Since day one Lizzie has been a very relaxed ferret even during treatment for her injuries happily allowing the staff to bathe her wounds. Due to her relaxed nature she would make a good ferret for first time owners and would be suitable for children of all ages.

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
