Josh is an adorable sweet loving boy. He is a quiet boy who can be shy, but once he feels comfortable and relaxed he is very loving. He loves nothing more than a sunny patch to have a snooze in, he also enjoys a warm lap when he can curl up on. He will give you kisses and lots of head rubs.
He can get easily stressed if there are too many people around and lots of loud noise. Josh would need a quiet home where he could hide away if he became too worried.
Josh would make a great pet who would bring so much love and joy to his new home.

Why I'm special

Josh is a very special boy, when he first came to the centre he had been a stray living outside and hadn't been touched by a human for a long time. Over time he started to trust us and we were able to scratch his ears and stroke his head. A little longer and we were able to pick him up to do a really good health check on him. Now he will come and sit on our laps so we can check him over but also just give him lots of affection, which he loves. Josh will also give you kisses back, he loves to lick your nose and the side of your face. He really is so affectionate when he trusts you.

Josh has a few issues but it is mainly because he is nervous and hasn't had the best start in life, but he would make a wonderful pet and has so much love to give. He has stolen our hearts at the centre and we know his special some-one is out there who can give him his perfect home where he can be the King of the home he truly deserves.

  • I'm a shy guy; I'll need time to settle
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog

Help feed animals in our care

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
