JOHN CRAVEN

This chunky fellow is a lovely lad rescued from the streets of North West London after he had been found scavenging for food.

John is a friendly cat who loves being around people but doesn't necessarily want a lot of fuss all of the time. He is quite vocal and will let you know he wants something, and being a bit of a diva he can have a bit of a strop when he doesn't get his own way.

Johnny boy is just a great big kitten so can become rough when playing, though he never uses his claws, this is why he needs a grown up family so if he does get a bit over zealous he can be put in his place easily.

We believe that John has previously been teased and tormented which has led to his occasional awkwardness. We have seen a huge change in john since coming into our care. He can be very friendly and affectionate, though he does have his moments when he can be a malicious whatsit, but he is always good fun and very comical.

In the right home he will make a great addition to the family, adults only though please. John Craven is looking for a new pad in a semi rural area with no neighbouring cats.  He must also have  a garden to enjoy and he must be the only pet!

Why I'm special

John is a fun cat with loads of personality. At heart he is still a kitten, not realising when his games become a bit too much with his zealous approach to life! Hence the need for a home with those who are experienced, confident cat owners.

He is also a massive bully when it comes to other cats so we are eagerly searching for a semirural home for this handsome fellow where there are no other pets or neighbourhood cats.

Like Marmite Love him or loath him - Jonny has been waiting forver it seems for the right home to come along - all we know here is that we LOVE marmite!! and we hope you will too.

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I'm independent; I like to do my own thing!
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog

Help feed animals in our care

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
