Hi all my name is Jake I am a 1 year old neutered male Staffordshire bull terrier who is looking for a loving new home can you help?
I found myself in the care of the centre after my owner could no longer look after me due to a change in circumstances.
I would describe myself as a very friendly playful boy with a cheeky out going nature.
I love the company of people and going for walks were I can run around and enjoy a mad five mins before chilling out for a cuddle.
I hoping my new home has lots of toys for me to play with my favourite or Kong’s and chew bones
I may be able to be placed with other dogs after a slow intro, who enjoy rough and tumble play. Although my play style can be a little too much for some dogs and it can take a few meet ups before we're friends.
I am looking for an experienced active home with an owner / family who enjoy going for walks as much as I do.
I am suitable to be placed with children 14 years and over.
For more information on what a good boy I am please contact the centre on 0151 4861706 thank you

My personality

  • I know how to sit (and lots of other commands too!)
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I can be left alone for short periods
  • I may be able to live with another dog
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm always on the go
  • I love toys and games

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
