Herbie can into our care as he owner was no longer able to care for him. Herbie can be initially shy when he meets new people but once he knows you, is super confident side begins to show itself. He needs to learn how to walk nicely on a lead as he can become a little giddy and jump up for attention but he’s slowly getting there and is improving with each passing day. He’s learnt some basic command whilst being in our care but his training will need to be continued in his new home.
He’s very excitable and can sometimes get a bit mouthy so he would be more suited to a home without young children. He enjoys the company of other dogs whilst on walks but he does need to learn some manners. We feel he could live with a tolerant dog following careful introductions.
Please note adopters must live within an hour of the animal centre.
