# Update 5/12 Harold has spent some time in a foster home and has proven to be a great companion. He's affectionate and gentle and a pleasure to spend time with. He's been introduced to being left alone and is doing well  #

Harold is around 3 years old,a male Lurcher.

Harold is quite a guy, although he was a little worried about arriving into kennels, he has settled well and is a firm favourite of staff!

His tail wag has to be seen to be believed! See his video on our Facebook page  (search @rspcasouthend)

Initial observations are that he is a lovely fellow, friendly with people, keen to investigate, has been a good boy at the vets and well behaved around dogs he's met

Harold is a larger Lurcher and has some weight to regain, consequently he is keen to sniff out where the treats are! He wasn't keen to pose for photos today though, bless him!

Harold loves people so would like a home where he has plenty of company we feel. Children should be over 12, as we have no history and he is a big lad who doesn't always keep 4 feet on the floor at the moment!

To apply to adopt Harold click on the following link and complete our online form

Set donation £195 and home visit will apply. Harold will be neutered, vaccinated, worm and flea treated, micro chipped and will come with 6 weeks free pet insurance.
