Hamish is an adorable 12 month old lionhead male male rabbit arrived in RSPCA care after being taken from a property where he wasnt being cared for properly. Hamish was one of 180 bunnies at the property so as you can imagine he wasn't in the best of health when he first arrived with us.
Hamish is a friendly, confident bunny who has taken to his new life in a foster home very well, he is fully litter trained and would be able to live as a house bunny. He will happy come over and take treats from your hand. Hamish does have limited sight in his one eye however this doesnt affect him at all. Hamish has also tested positive for EC, he hasnt had a flare up to our knowledge however we would like to rehome him with another EC positive bunny. We are happy to discuss Hamishs needs with any potential adopter.
Hamish has been health checked by a vet, fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Can you offer this lovely bunny the forever home he deserves?
Why I'm special
Hamish is a very special bunny, he has been through alot in his short life and now we are hoping to find him a bunny friend of his own. Hamish is EC positive but this doesnt stop him in any way. To look at him he is a completely normal bunny, he loves binkying around the garden and will bunny flop in his tray full of fresh hay. He is a good hay eater, happily takes treats from your hand and is genuinely an all round amazing bunny.
It really would be fantastic for this bunny to go from living in a hamster cage at a property with hundreds of animals to being the centre of of attention with a family who genuinely care and love him. Whoever adopts Hamish really will have a 1 in a million bunny.
- I may be able to live with a female rabbit
- I'd be happy living indoors if you give me lots to do
- I could live with children
- I like treat time and being hand-fed
