FLASH

A wonderful, bright and beautiful boy, Flash has sadly found himself back in our care due to his previous owners no longer been able to give him the life he needs . After so long away he was a little unsure to begin but he soon found his feet and he's now back to being the happy, loving boy he is.

Flash has been in rescue for a large part of his life and still knows very little about the world. He still has some learning to do but is always very keen to do his best. He is so much fun to be around and does enjoy a crazy half hour of silliness when he can. He is super affectionate and a total cuddle monster, he can brighten anyones day with a gorgeous snuggle.

Flash is a magnificent pooch, he is looking for a home where he wouldn't have to be alone much and his family will be around the majority of the time. He can be a bit over the top when initially meeting dogs for the first time but settles with them once the initial excitement is over. He may be suitable to live with another dog with similar personality.

Flash is hoping for a quieter home with a family willing to devote every day to help him to learn all about the world and be confident with it. He is looking for a home where any children are 16 years and over and who are able to take part in his training and day to day care.

Could you offer this marvellous dog a bright and happy future?

Why I'm special

At just one year old, I was rescued from a life of cruelty and for a large chunk of my life so far I have been in rescue.  I was briefly adopted but had to come back to kennels as I couldn't cope when they went out. I loved my new people dearly but didn't want them to leave me alone - I worried they were never coming back, just like people before.

Being in rescue has it's perks! Unlike my last life I always get great regular meals, the staff love me, I get pampered (they always make sure I look dapper in case I get visitors) and I've learned lots of new skills and good manners.  What I would really love thought is someone to give me a chance to show how awesome I really am.  I love long walks and playtime, I'm super handsome, lots of fun and if you are home much of the day and need a friend to relax with and to keep you company - I'm your guy!

Due to my past, I still have nightmares and get worried sometimes, but if you'll hold my paw and help me with my troubles, I'll be the absoultely best boy for you, I promise!

My personality

  • I know how to sit (and lots of other commands too!)
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I can be left alone for short periods
  • I may be able to live with another dog
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm a bright spark
  • I love fuss and attention

Help feed animals in our care

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
