Ella was brought in to Millbrook as her previous owners had a change of circumstance and could no longer meet her needs.
Ella as an active girl who loves to be occupied both mentally and physically. Ella has good basic training and enjoys learning. She would benefit from attending training and socialisation classes with her new family. Ella can live with kids the age of 10 years upwards.
Ella is very excited when she meets dogs. Once walking with another dog she is calm but can be vocal and lively when meeting for the first time. Ella could live with another dog if it was the right one preferably one of simular size. Her new family will need to continue her dog socialisation with daily walks with other calm dogs that Ella can become comfortable with and learn to trust. Ella will need to stay on lead in public at first, with off lead play in her own, large enclosed garden. Her recall needs work. Ella does love to run and play with toys.
In her previous home Ella was house trained and travelled well in the car. She could be left for up to 30 minutes and was used to a crate. Her new family will need to leave her for short periods and continue crate training and slowly build up the time she is left.

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
