DUCHESS

Duchess came into our care through no fault of her own and is now looking for her forever home.
She is a very sweet and soppy dog who loves people once she gets to know you. She can be a bit shy to begin with but with a bit of time and patience she will make a super companion.
She loves to whizz around with other dogs but just needs to learn how to stop!
She is currently in a foster home and this is what her foster carer said 'To begin with Duchess was a little overwhelmed coming to live in a new home, with new people and to meet 3 other dogs but within a couple of hours it was like she has always been here, she is very much a people dog once she trusts you and believes that she is a lap dog!. She is fantastic out walking and likes to know where you are and is pretty good on the lead. She is not really used to being left on her own but we are working on that. She will make someone an amazing new addition'
You may not be able to tell from the picture but she is rough coated.
Please give us a ring if you would like to know more information.

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
