Meet gorgeous Dolly. Dolly was originally taken into another branch as a stray before transferring to us so she can get a new home on the EARS Scheme. The fosterer has reported that Dolly is a bit of cheeky character she likes to borrow socks and slippers and carry them round the house. Dolly really enjoys playing with her toys and can get a bit over excited with this. Dolly loves to sit next to her fosterer or on her knee but not really cuddly, she likes attention on her terms like most torties but she loves the company of people so don’t let this put you off. The fosterer has said she is very well behaved in the house, and we also feel once she gets into her new home she would like to go outside and explore once she is settled. We feel Dolly needs an adult home or one with teenagers. We don't feel Dolly would like to live with other animals as she seems unsettled when she was in cattery. Dolly is part of our EARS Scheme which has lots of benefits for people adopting from the Halifax/Huddersfield area. Please ring on 01422 365 628.

Why I'm special

Dolly is a beautiful looking cat, she has real character and can be a little cheeky at times. She really isn’t the sort of cat that acts her age and think’s she is still in her prime. She has been a pleasure for the foster homes she has been in and really gets herself settled within days of been there. Dolly loves going outside but as she is in foster we are unable to allow them to go out exploring. If you could offer Dolly a new start where she can go and out and go on adventures please contact us on 01422 365 628.

My personality

  • I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I'm independent; I like to do my own thing!
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
