Delilah is an absolutely beautiful chocolate and white coloured lop with ice blue eyes. She is truly stunning and probably why in her previous home she was sadly repeatedly bred from. Delilah was kept in pitiful conditions on an allotment where she barely had any space to move and minimal human contact. Thankfully she was rescued by the National RSPCA inspectors before coming into our care for some much needed TLC.

Delilah has settled in well with us and revealed her wonderfully strong character! The best way to describe her is 'blundering' aka bull in a china shop, but then it doesn't help that she is quite a chunky bunny so when she bustles around she seems quite formidable! Delilah has had a terrible life and now she has plenty of comfort and space to play she is very clearly enjoying herself.

It would be great to see her rehomed in a large outdoor set up with a neutered male bunny companion. He will have to be a placid chap, willing to submit to her but in return she will likely be his protector! Delilah is neutered, has received both combi and RHD2 vaccinations and been microchipped. She will be best suited to a home used to rescue rabbits and big characters. We’d recommend any children in the home be 8 or over and used to rescue animals. If you could offer our very special lady an equally special home give us a call, 0161 882 0680 option 4 or email

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
