Cybill is a beautiful 1 year old Border Collie looking for a quiet forever home.

Cybill is a sweet and friendly girl who is still very nervous and timid in most situations and when meeting new people, she shy’s away from loud noises and fast movements.  She will require a lot of patience and time when it comes to settling into her new home, and it will also take some time for potential owners to gain her trust so we advise having a number of meetings before she can be rehomed.

As she has lived outside most of her life she is finding it difficult to come through doorways so her new family must be understanding of this and let her come in at her own pace so not to unsettle her.

She will require further training and we would advise going to training classes with her, once her confidence has grown enough for her to be comfortable in new surroundings with unfamiliar faces.  She will also need grooming regularly and she has to continue to be toilet trained which has already improved greatly since being here at the centre with the help of regular toilet breaks.

Cybill will need lots of mental and physical stimulation due to the nature of her breed, we are looking for those who have experience training/owning Border Collies or dogs with a similar timid disposition.

Cybill’s ideal home would be 1 active person or active couple in a quiet household who are home most of the day with experience of her breed. She can be rehomed with children 16 + and she can live with another dog depending on compatibility, not suitable to live with cats.
