CECIL

This is Cecil. Cecil is our special boy who, through no fault of his own, has been with us for over 7 months now.  Cecil is not coping well at all with life in a kennel. He can get very stressed when seeing people walk by his kennel. But, once out of his kennel, Cecil is the funniest, sweetest boy you could meet! He races around our compound like a rocket, he is so super fast! Cecil came in as a stray, so we don’t know his history. He knows how to ‘sit’, so someone must have taught him that? We know that the right home is out there for our lovely Cecil. He needs someone who can spend a lot of time with him and can teach him what it is like to be loved.  Cecil will want 2 good walks a day. He would love a secure garden where he can do his ‘zoomies’ and any ‘hide my treats and I will find them’ games would be fantastic for him. That way he can give his brain a workout too! In return, Cecil will give you all the love he has to give! Cecil would be best suited to confident and dog experienced owners and an adult home only.
If you are unable to give this boy a permanent home, we are also looking for a foster home for Cecil. This foster home should be pet free, preferably in a rural location, with experienced people who know how to deal with behaviour issues.

Why I'm special

This is Cecil. Cecil is our special boy who, through no fault of his own, has been with us for over 6 months now.

But he knows how to ‘sit’, so someone must have taught him that?

We know that the right home is out there for our lovely Cecil. He needs someone who can spend a lot of time with him and can teach him what it is like to be loved.  Cecil has some issues that need dealing with. He reacts to some dogs, but also to loud traffic.

If you are unable to give Cecil his forever home but are able to foster him, then we can consider this too. We would be looking for a foster home that is pet free, where there is someone at home most of the day and has experience of dealing with dogs with behaviour issues, preferably in a rural area.
