BRODIE

Brodie has recently come in to our care from another RSPCA centre to help with his rehoming. Brodie is a loveable dog who has tons of energy and a very playful side to him.  Brodie will need an active family to help him burn off his energy as he has an endless love for playing. His favourite toy is tennis balls and there are a number of games to play that involve training and toys. This training is something we will start to do with Brodie to get him to use his brain which is great mental stimulation for a dog. You will need to have a high enclosed garden as Brodie has strong back legs and will happily try and jump over a gate or fenced garden. Brodie is great with both men and women, we think he would suit a home where if there are any children they need to be in their teens+ or an adult home due to his boisterous side. Brodie is still learning how to interact and communicate with other dogs, he likes to jump up at them and sometimes doesn?t know his boundaries so at the moment we are looking for a home where there are no other animals in case he behaviours very similar with cats or smalls. If you would like more information about Brodie, please contact us.

Why I'm special

Brodie has been spending a lot, and I mean a lot of time with his best pal; Nick a member of staff at the animal centre. Nick takes Brodie home every night and he is a fantastic dog to have in the home. Brodie struggles a lot in the kennel environment so we have seen a huge difference in Brodie now that he has the pleasure of having not only a comfy home to temporally sleep in but he has a new best pal. We think Brodie would settle great in a new home now that we have seen this side of him as long as you are patient with him. He is great with his recall too but again this will need building up. He has tons of energy and even more love to give. Brodie just needs a patient, enthusiastic owner to take him in and continue his training which he gets better and better at everyday thanks to Nick.
