BLUE

Blue is an 8 year old Blue Staffy X who thinks she is really a puppy! She is a fun loving little girl who just loves chasing balls but she also loves as many cuddles as she can get!! Blue really loves people and is such a trusting and loyal girl.

Once she knows you her recall is excellent and she is good with other dogs, she has bonded well with her current fosterer’s dog. Blue isn’t a fan of birds or cats and will happily chase both, this isn’t a major issue for her and any new home could have dogs but definitely not cats!!  Blue lived in a house with young children before and she doesn’t react to them at all, in fact she does tend to ignore them.

This beautiful little girl has masses of personality and love to give to her new family when she finds it. She will be a wonderful addition to almost any home, providing she can be the centre of attention and her new family has some reasonable experience and time to devote to her, in return she will repay your efforts in spades!!  Ideally we would like to see her go to a new home in the Oxfordshire area or nearby.

Blue found her way to us back in March this year having lost most of her coat and not very much body mass, which was mainly due to neglect.  But since being with us she has now grown back her coat beautifully and a change of diet has helped her put on the weight she needed, she is a totally transformed, healthy little dog now, and she knows it!!

She has had some tests and due to an unknown allergy, which mainly affects her feet and makes them quite itchy for a good deal of the time. Her ears also require regular cleaning which is easy as Blue will stand patiently while it’s done, she even seems to enjoy it!!

If you think you could offer Blue the forever home she needs and deserves please get in touch. Contact Graeme on 07836 660612 or Linda on: 07799 066679 or email: adopt@rspca-oxfordshire.org.uk for more details.

** Remember, all of our animals are fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, flea & worm treated plus six weeks FREE pet insurance; so they are completely ready to move in to their new forever homes, if you think you could offer one of those homes please contact us!!

Thank you!!

Why I'm special

This is Blue who found her way to us back in March this year.  We had worked with her previous owner for sometime but sadly they were just not able to give her the care and attention she needed, so they agreed the best thing for her was that she should come to us.  Sadly she wasn’t in the best of health and had a rather difficult time, she needed lots of help to become the lovely girl she is today.

My personality

  • I know how to sit (and lots of other commands too!)
  • I could live with children of secondary school age
  • I can be left alone for short periods
  • I may be able to live with another dog
  • I'd prefer not to live with a cat
  • I'm young at heart
  • I love fuss and attention

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
