BLUE

Blue is a gentle boy who is looking for a new home. Sadly, he was returned into our care when his owners were unable to keep him.

He is a super affectionate lad who loves nothing more than leaning against you getting lots of fuss…..he is a real people dog! Chasing a ball in our enclosed field is one of Blues favourite things to do and seeing him gallop along is so enjoyable to watch.

Blue is looking for a home that is in a more rural location, with a Medium – Large, 5ft high enclosed garden, where he can enjoy running about safely.

Being a lurcher/greyhound type Blue has a high chase drive. He can also be reactive towards other dogs. Therefore, he will need to be on lead and muzzled in public areas. A clinical behaviourist observed Blue near other dogs in his previous home and a behaviour modification programme has been written up, which will help his new owners manage him around other dogs.

Blue is such a clever boy and picks up new things very quickly. He knows a handful of commands and is already muzzle trained, so he will walk along happily wearing one.

Can you offer this fella the home he is looking for?

Help feed animals in our care

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
