BILLY

This is our Billy who's a lovely looking male cat who is desperate to feel the grass beneath his feet & the fresh air through his fur.
We think he has lived outside for a while as when he came to us he was in bad condition, thin and not looking his best. We are pleased he has put weight on got his condition back and is a hansom chap. He has been neutered since being with us so he does not feel he needs to be as territorial.
He has been used to fending for himself so although he loves living in a house and having attention he also loves to be outside and explore.
He would need a confident owner who understands cat behaviour as he was rehomed but unfortunately he was returned. This was due to him being out in the garden and the adopter wanting him to come in. We think the signals were miss read and Billy resisted being picked up! This concerned the adopter and Billy was unfortunately returned despite offers of a behaviourist visit to reassure the adopter & support Billy’s placement.
Whilst he has been in the cattery with us he is a typical confident cat and loves fuss, treats but is not keen no being picked up if it’s not his choice, typical cat!
He's great company though and loves to play with his toys he just needs someone to understand his independent streak.
He is neutered, vaccinations inc leukaemia vaccine. He has had regular worm & flea treatment and is microchipped.
A adoption support visit and £60 adoption fee is required.

Why I'm special

If you love a cheeky chappie then this boy is for you. He is full of cattitude and would love to be in a home and when settled he would love to play out. He will be confident to play out on his own and have a nap if/ when you are out.

My personality

  • I may be able to live with another cat
  • I need to be able to go outside and explore
  • I'd prefer an adult only household
  • I'm independent; I like to do my own thing!
  • I would prefer not to live with a dog
