BILLY

Billy is such a loving and cheeky little character, who loves to play fetch and adores a good tummy rub. Even though Billy's sight is failing this does not hold him back. He enjoys the same things that any seeing dog enjoys, play time, games of fetch, hikes in the forest, there's just no stopping him. While Billy is living the life of luxury in his foster home, what he would really love is a permanent home in the country away from the bustle of urban life. Can you help to find him his forever home? Billy has such a lovely nature and is looking for a special owner to teach him all about the good things in life. He has always been a firm favourite with the staff and volunteers at the centre as he is such a sweet and kind boy. Sadly due to a degenerative condition, Billy has very little to no sight. Therefore he needs a home where he is able to build a mental map of his surroundings. Due to his failing sight, Billy can be reactive near other dogs so will require continued work to overcome this. Billy is looking for a patient owner to be there for him to help him to adjust, with easy access to the garden with any hazards such as ponds securely fenced. Billy would like a home where any children are around secondary school age and able to help Billy in his adjustment in life. Can you offer this lovely chap the loving and active home he deserves? If you feel you can offer Billy what he needs, please contact the centre for more information and to arrange a visit with Billy.

Help feed animals in our care

Dog eating out of a dog bowl © RSPCA

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
