BIG CHEEKS AND HUNK

We are looking for a super special home for these two gorgeous boys who have now been in our care for six months! BigCheeks (black) and Hunk (tabby) are two 3-4yr old neutered males who ideally need to be kept together and need an indoor home. Sadly, because of their previous owners neglecting to get them neutered, they are both FIV+. This isn’t as bad for them as it sounds, they aren’t affected by their diagnosis so far, it just means that they will have to be kept indoors so they don’t spread the virus to any others. They will also need a bit of a closer eye keeping on them when/if they pick up any infection as their impaired immune system isn’t as strong as most cats so antibiotics may be needed from time to time.
Hunk also has a long term snuffle, we’ve treated it with hardcore antibiotics and although it improves it never fully clears up, although we’re hopeful that this is partly down to stress of being in a cattery environment and hopefully once they’re in a home environment it will improve massively. BigCheeks has never suffered with it, so we don’t believe that it is infectious.
Both these boys are lovely, gorgeous, handsome specimens and deserve a really lovely home now after their rubbish start in life and their long wait in kennels. They’ve both been neutered, microchipped, they’re up to date with flea and worm treatment and fully vaccinated. They’re ready to find a special home now.
If you’re interested in meeting the boys then please send us a private message on here. We are asking for a donation for them upon adoption.

Why I'm special

We’ve been waiting for our special home for nearly a year now, but we keep being overlooked as we are both FIV+. This doesn’t stop us from being lovely cats, and we’re still really healthy despite having FIV. We just need an indoor home so we can be kept safe.

Help feed animals in our care

It costs on average £8.52 to feed a single animal in our care for just one week!

We rehome thousands of animals every year. Whilst some are lucky enough to find a new home in just a few weeks, many more stay with us for months until we're able to find them their perfect family.

Will you help us cover the costs of feeding dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more with a donation today?

*The funds collected will be used wherever the need is greatest.
