BAXTER

Baxter is a young male, polecat coloured ferret. He was found straying one Saturday afternoon,, we think he may have been straying for a little while as he was very thin and hungry and had quite a few ticks on him.

Baxter is a very scared of people but he is fine to handle and being so young should quickly gain in confidence with regular gentle handling. Baxter is looking for a home where he will have the company of other ferrets .

Suitable accommodation for ferrets would be a hutch measuring 5ft x 2ft with an attached 6ft run. Alternatively if the accommodation is indoors then a cage measuring at least 90 x 60 x 150cm with multiple levels would be suitable. Larger groups will need bigger accommodation. They will also need at least 1 hour of play time daily in a secure area.

To find out more about Baxter please speak ring RSPCA West Hatch on 0300 123 0747 during our opening hours or email whdocen@rspca.org.uk.
