Our governance

We're governed by a board of trustees who are responsible for ensuring the Society is effectively managed and meets its charitable objectives. Day-to-day leadership of the organisation is undertaken by an executive team, led by the Chief Executive.

Following the recent election to the RSPCA Board of Trustees, the following members were elected:

Three-year term

Two-year term

  • Imogen Walker

One-year term

  • Barbara Gardner
  • Karen Harley
  • David Thomas

Candidates not elected

  • Mark Glover
  • René Olivieri

Our Board comprises of up to 12 trustees, including three co-optees - Caroline Waters, René Olivieri and David Smith - and is responsible for our financial sustainability and the strategic oversight of all aspects of our activities.
