RSPCA Animal Nation Facebook App terms
These App terms, the terms of use of the RSPCA website and our privacy policy govern your use of RSPCA Apps. By accessing or using an RSPCA App you agree to be bound by all such terms. If you do not want to be bound by these terms, do not use or access any RSPCA App.
RSPCA Apps means software applications on websites operated by RSPCA and its subsidiary companies, and on websites and social networks operated by third parties, and the related mobile device software and documentation which enables the use of the App, and any upgrades to these Apps, software and documentation.
We have the right to change, add or delete parts of these App terms at any time and for any purpose. You are responsible for reviewing these terms often enough to be aware of any changes. Your continued use of an RSPCA App constitutes your agreement to any changes.
Eligibility
If you are under 18 years old you may not submit any content or information without the explicit consent of your parent or legal guardian.
Data protection
Any personal information you supply when using an RSPCA App will be used by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The RSPCA won’t store your email address, name or other information supplied to us via this app for any longer than necessary to send out a thank you email. Your email address will not be added to our mailing lists.
Authorised use
You may use RSPCA Apps only for non-commercial, personal purposes. You may not make and distribute copies of any RSPCA App or any content on it (including, without limitation, text, design, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, downloads, interfaces, code and software, as well as the selection and arrangement thereof). You may not attempt to copy, reproduce, alter, modify, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, transfer, exchange or translate any RSPCA App or content on it, nor create derivative works of any Application of any kind whatsoever.
All intellectual property rights of any nature in the RSPCA App and its content together with the underlying software code belong to the RSPCA or other copyright owners who have authorised the use of their copyright. No right or interest is transferred in any intellectual property or software, whether as a result of the download or otherwise of an RSPCA App. If an RSPCA App or its content is used in a manner or for a purpose not authorised under these terms and conditions you may be liable to RSPCA and third parties.
If you breach these App terms or terms of use of any RSPCA website, we may issue you with a warning or terminate your ability to use the RSPCA App. In any event, we may terminate or limit your ability to use any RSPCA App at any time, with or without reason or notice to you, and without liability on our part.
Liability
RSPCA Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties with regard to any RSPCA App are excluded.
RSPCA cannot and does not guarantee or warrant that the software and content is free of infection by viruses, other harmful computer code, files or programs. RSPCA cannot accept any liability for any loss, disruption, alteration or damage to your data, mobile phone or other device or equipment which may occur as a result of accessing an RSPCA App.
RSPCA will not be liable for any loss or damage of whatever kind or howsoever arising from any person accessing or using an RSPCA App. Information in any RSPCA App is provided for general information only and you should not rely on it or use it to make decisions. We reserve the right at any time to modify any RSPCA App or the information in it but we are not obliged to do so.
Nothing in this App terms shall exclude or limit RSPCA’s liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
RSPCA is not responsible for the support or maintenance of an RSPCA App.
Information you submit
You are responsible for any information and material you submit arising from your access to or use of an RSPCA App. You may not publish or upload on any RSPCA App any material that:
- is confidential, defamatory, obscene, threatening, abusive, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, illegal, unlawful, infringing of any other person’s rights, or is otherwise objectionable;
- may contain software viruses or any form of "spam"; or
- is or contains commercial or marketing content.
You may not use a false or misleading email address or other identifying information, impersonate any person or entity.
Third party websites
The presence of an RSPCA App on a third party website or network does not indicate any relationship or affiliation between the RSPCA and that third party.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and incorporated in accordance with English law.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.
