You asked:
Handbag dogs
Answer:
Carrying a dog in a handbag is very likely to impact upon its ability to behave normally and in many cases behaviour will be restricted. For example, dogs may be taken into situations from which they can’t hide or escape because they are contained within a bag. The RSPCA is therefore extremely concerned about the practice of carrying dogs in handbags. Any owner who decides to carry their dog in a handbag should ensure that it is removed regularly from the bag to exercise and go to the toilet.
