Pets - Lost & Found

Contact our 24-hour cruelty and advice line 0300 1234 999 to provide details for the lost and found register. If someone finds your pet and contacts us, we will have the relevant information needed to try and reunite you.

Other organizations that keep records of lost and found animals are:

  • Animal Search UK: 01432 761 406 or www.animalsearchuk.com
  • Cats Protection: 08702 099 099
  • Dogs Trust: 020 7837 0006.

Contact the
dog warden via your local council, local veterinary surgeries, animal centres and the police. Your milkman and postman may also be able to look out for your pet on their rounds.

Put up posters in the area with a picture of your pet, also newsagents, schools and local newspapers. You could even contact local radio stations to make an announcement about your search. To make your search easier, make sure your pet is microchipped. Visit our Pet care section to learn about microchipping your pet.
