One of the core activities of the RSPCA is influencing decision makers and ensuring improvements in animal welfare through legislation and policy development.
Claire Robinson is the RSPCA's Government Relations Manager and she and her team work closely with all levels of government and enforcement agencies. She has lead on the RSPCA's work in lobbying for the Hunting Act, the Animal Welfare Act and most recently the issue of dangerous dogs.
Claire has extensive knowledge of the political process, legislation and the law as well as developing good practice approaches to solving animal welfare problems.
Claire has a BSc in Environmental Protection and a post-graduate diploma in Law. Prior to working at the RSPCA she worked in the Houses of Parliament.
Claire has appeared in BBC Breakfast, Sky, Radio 4's Today Programme as well as many others.
