In February 2013, the first ever RSPCA inspector trek will take place as 15 officers will be taking on the challenge of a life time as they try to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro.

An amazing challenge

They have all volunteered to be part of this amazing challenge and have been set the incredible target of raising £80,000 between them through their own fundraising, and support from UK businesses and the general public.

Before they head off next year they will have to train hard and prepare their bodies for the extreme physical effort that this challenge will require. Only 30 per cent of people who take on this type of challenge make it to the summit.

But knowing how hard our inspectors work and how committed they are to the RSPCA and to all the animals that need our help, we are sure that they will all make it to the top.
