Pregnant cat enjoys a train ride

Feline without a train ticket attempts to flee city!

It would appear that Birmingham became all too much for one affectionate feline after the pregnant cat got on a train in the Aston area of the city before being escorted off by a member of the public at Sutton Coldfield.

The extremely loving black-and-white cat is now in a temporary foster home with RSPCA Animal Collection Officer (ACO) Neil Astle who collected the moggie from Sutton Coldfield station.

'Sadly...we have no way of knowing who owns her'

Neil said:

The cat was seen getting on the train and we think she travelled about five or six stops before she was carried off by a concerned member of the public.

She is heavily pregnant so could have kittens any day.

She is a very affectionate cat which makes me believe she is owned.

But sadly, as is far too often the case, she is not microchipped nor is she wearing a collar with ID so we have no way of knowing who owns her or where she comes from.

Neil collected the cat from Sutton Coldfield station, West Midlands, at around 9pm on Saturday, 14 July after she was carried from the train earlier that evening.
