Coventry and District Branch

Interested in volunteering for the RSPCA?

We rely entirely on volunteers and couldn’t help animals in our local area without the wonderful people who give their time to run and support the branch.

If we haven't any specific volunteer vacancies in the list below, please check back again at a later date or get in touch as we are always looking for more people to help.

Home visitor

This is an interesting position and only suitable if you have regular time to spare, access to a telephone and the use of a vehicle. You will be responsible for Visiting the homes of potential adopters to ensure their suitability for an RSPCA animal and to revisit homes to ensure that the adoption has been a success.

General animal centre duties

This covers a wide range of tasks from light gardening to heavy cleaning! You will be asked to provide care for cats, dogs and small animals and carry out a variety of general tasks at the Animal Centre under direction of the Animal Centre Manager.

Organising events

It costs thousands of pounds a year to run the Centre. Our  supporters freely give their time to raise these funds. Can you spare some time to help at any of our events?  How about arranging an event of your own? Perhaps a Garage Sale, a Car Boot, or a Quiz Night. Children love to become involved, so ask them to do a sponsored spell. Anything you could do to raise funds would be gratefully received.
