Interested in volunteering for the RSPCA Liverpool Branch?
Dog Walking
We get lots of offers from people wanting to help at the Centre. One of the best ways of helping our dogs is to give them regular walks. The Branch is always pleased to receive an offer to be a regular dog walker as it makes such a difference to our dogs. Most of whom have been abandoned and are upset and out of their routine. You will need to be over 18 and prepared to go out in all weathers! Please contact the Centre for a form.
Home Visits
We are also in need of volunteer home visitors to visit prospective new owners in their homes to check on their suitability and security of the house and garden. Mature people with their own transport are most welcome.
Please contact the Centre for a form.
Cat socializing
We also have a number of time slots throughout the day when volunteers can come into the cattery and spend time with some of our residents who need a little bit more help and encouragement to come out of their shells. If this is something you may be interested in please contact the centre for a form.
Working in the Centre
We do not normally encourage volunteers to work in the kennels or cattery as we do not have the resources to give full training to a volunteer who has not had previous experience of kennel or cattery work. If you have worked in an animal centre and want to give your time on a regular basis please contact the Centre.
