Your Local Branch

The Harrogate & District Branch of the RSPCA is one of 165 independent branch charities that support the local work of the RSPCA's inspectors. As a small local branch we use private boarding facilities, we do not have our own rehoming centre so all appointments must be arranged prior to visiting us.

As a separately registered branch of the RSPCA we are responsible for raising funds locally to help animals in our area. We are run by local volunteers and raise money through fundraising events, donations and legacies.

We aim to promote responsible pet ownership through local microchipping and neutering campaigns. We can also help with welfare assistance costs for your pets.

We have a number of cats and kittens for adoption and offer advice and support to the public by telephone calls to our branch line and via e-mail.

A great way to keep up to date with the latest news, events and animals looking for new homes is to 'like' us on facebook. This not only keeps you in the loop about what we are up to but you can also engage with our other supporters and let us know your thoughts.
