Welcome to our Branch and Animal Centre. We raise money locally to support local animal welfare work. 

On this site you can learn more about us, view our animals waiting for adoption, discover volunteering opportunities – just a few hours can make a difference for animals in need – and read about forthcoming events.

Our branch is run by a committee of locally elected volunteers, a dedicated team at our Animal Centre and a fantastic group of enthusiastic volunteers.

 

Any and all donations are gratefully received,

at the moment we only have a text service set up but are looking in to a Donation link for the home page in the foreseeable future.

To donate to the brach via text; simply type SYAC14 and the amount (£1, £2, £5 or £10) and send to 70070.

 

£5 cares for a dog a day

£10 cares for a cat a week

 

Alternativley if you would prefer to buy something specific for the centre then please check out our Amazon Wish List. Everything on the list the centre uses on a daily basis.

 

 

                                                                        

 

                                 NOTICE

As of the 1st of May 2014 The South Yorkshire Animal Centre will be asking for suggested minimum donations on entry to the centre. The suggested minimum donations are as follows:

                    Adults (Over18) £2

                 Under 18s/Over 60s - £1

The South Yorkshire Animal Centre recieves no government or national lottery funding, we are also autonomous from the RSPCA National Society and therefore we rely solely on the generosity of donations to keep the centre running.

The above amounts are only a suggested minimum, all donations recieved will be used to care for the animals in the centre.

    Christmas Fayre

The centre will be holding its annual Christmas Fayre and it is an apportunity for you to buy some goodies for the big day. The event will be held at the centre between the hours of 11AM - 4PM.
