A little bit about us... image

The Derby & District Branch of the RSPCA was founded in 1872 and since then has transformed the lives of abandoned, mistreated and stray animals in Derby and the surrounding areas.

Our motto is: Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome

We rehome dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and a variety of small furries! Every year we send over 600 animals to their new forever homes.

If you're interested in possibly adopting an animal from us please come down to our Centre on Abbey Street and visit us. No appointment is necessary, just come between our viewing hours of 12pm-4pm. We are open everyday except for Wednesdays.

As well as our Animal Centre we also have three Charity Shops, based in Belper, Ripley and Long Eaton. We are always grateful of any stock donations and we can now accept donations of electrical goods. If you have large items such as furniture, or large amounts of goods please call the Centre on 01332 344620 as we may be able to arrange a collection for you.

To stay updated on our Centre's news you can sign up to receive our quarterly e-newsletter! Just email Leanne at vc@rspcaderby.org.uk with 'Newsletter Request' in the subject line.
